The TV was limited but smart, so we easily used our netflix, britbox and prime.

Our condo has a nice private balcony with a good gas grill. I am retired and a $35 fish and chips is too much for me but the food looked good. Oyhut has an excellent small market with coffee and baked goods as well, however the restaurant there, while nice, is too expensive for us. Great gas fireplace and heat (no AC, fyi)We brought all our own food as Ocean shores has limited offerings. This was the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen including Kitchen Aid stand mixer and coffee grinder etc. We stayed in the condo not the cottages and had a lovely time. We chose Ocean Shores because we've never been there and the Oyhut Bay Resort is pet friendly. We wanted to visit the Olympic National Park but it is too far for me to go in one day so we hit upon the happy thought of staying out on the Washington coast and driving up to the park. They did keep the food hot and were able to cook your piece of prime rib to order using a small skillet. We ate the Prime Rib buffet - it was served in a banquet room. We had to put our clothes in plastic bags to take them home and immediately wash them. No matter what you are going to smell like an ashtray.

I liked staying in a Non Smoking hotel but the fact that the Casino is smoking (and heavily smoky) was a turn off. The spa is closed Wednesdays and Thursdays which is upsetting b/c we wanted to book massages. Blackout curtains also a plus for us late sleepers. I did like the fireplace with automatic shut-off and the A/C was super cold. Double sinks in the bathroom was a plus but layout of them left a lot to be desired. i can report that she did, though, get the credit card activated she was calling about on her personal call (from what I could hear) We stayed in a King Room with a wetlands (parking lot) view. She charged my credit card the entire room amount (even though we prepaid) She did not give us any details on amenities (pool? spa? locations? hours?) nothing. First off - upon checking in the Front Desk agent was on the phone the entire time on a personal phone call. We stayed for a midweek vacation on a Wed-Thurs.
